Drag your solution files to the Solution Files folder, then remove the PlaceHolder.fmp12 file.

Click the disclosure triangle next to the Custom Application Resources folder.

In Xcode, click the disclosure triangle next to your project in the project navigator.

Open the Xcode project file for your app (.xcodeproj).

directory: Use this directory to store the files and resources for your app.

makeprojdir ~/MyAppDir 'Hello World' Ī project directory is created for your app in the location you specified. The following example creates a new project directory called MyAppDir in the user's home directory for the 'Hello World' app and the bundle identifier: You created the bundle identifier in Step 4: Create the App ID.

bundleIdentifier: A unique string that identifies a single app.

If the name contains spaces or special characters, enclose the name in quotation marks.

The project directory can be anywhere in your file system it doesn't need to be in the iOS App SDK directory.

NewAppDir: The name and location of a new directory that will be the project directory for your app.Type the following command in the Terminal window:.Tip: Drag the folder to the Terminal window to enter the full path of the folder. You created the iOSAppSDK folder in Step 2: Download and open iOS App SDK.
